The Bloodstone Ring

A very special piece with a very special stone.

This ring features a beautiful dark green jasper known as “Bloodstone Jasper.” The name comes from the tiny natural red spots hidden inside the stone, like little drops of color resting in the deep green background. It is actually very difficult to capture its true beauty in photographs. I took many pictures with different lighting, but this is one of those stones that changes subtly depending on the light, the shadows, and the moment. In person, the dark green tones and the delicate red details become much richer and more alive.

The entire ring is completely handmade in sterling silver. Around the stone, the bezel has been carefully hand-chiseled and textured, and the band itself is also engraved all around the finger with small handmade details. I added a soft dark patina inside the textures to create contrast and allow the chiseling work to stand out beautifully, while the silver itself remains bright and luminous with wear.

The oval stone with its setting measures approximately 1 inch long and about 3/4 inch wide. Measurements are approximate and intended as a general reference.
